A member of JAMA for over 35 years, Kal Benuska’s vast project experience spans public and private sectors and includes expertise with long span structures for convention centers, museums, and sports stadiums, along with hotels, multifamily residences, libraries and educational facilities. His knowledge of construction best practices combined with technological advancements has led to design collaborations using pre-fabricated and modular precast concrete systems for several large projects. These efforts have pushed industry standards for meeting performance requirements while achieving cost and schedule savings.

Aligning his extensive professional network with JAMA’s growing presence in the Northern California region, Kal established the firm’s Oakland office in 2019, and has led employee and project growth in the office ever since. In addition to leading the Oakland office, Kal continues to service his clients and projects in Southern California and oversees JAMA’s business development and marketing teams.
