President
Kurt Clandening serves as the President of JAMA. An expert in the design and management of complex architectural typologies, Kurt’s experience spans aviation, laboratory, education, museum, international high-rise buildings and large-scale commercial mixed-use projects. He has been the engineer in responsible charge for many of the firm’s iconic projects such as Emerson College, Orange County Museum of Art (OCMA), and the Student Services Building at Cal Poly Pomona. Kurt also oversees all JAMA projects at Los Angeles’ LAX airport, including several of the Terminal Vertical Cores, multi-story connection points between terminals and the Automated People Mover (APM).
As President, Kurt provides hands-on supervision of JAMA’s client relations, staff, and guides the firm’s future strategy. He works with JAMA’s leadership team on strategic business and financial plans, mentorship and training initiatives, and overall company leadership.
When he’s not engaged in project or management work you can find Kurt traveling with his family to exotic locations, pursuing the latest foodie restaurant, or hanging out with his two beloved dogs.
