Construction progress at Riverside City College! It may not look like much, but this Fiber Reinforced Polymer (FRP) is serving a dual purpose in this seismic retrofit project. FRP allows us to cut new openings in the existing CMU walls and bring all of the remaining walls into compliance with current building code! The two-story Life Science and Physical Science buildings were originally constructed in the mid-60s, and this exciting project is breathing new life into the building, modernizing and reactivating over 34,000 SF of space with demolition and seismic retrofit. JAMA is excited to be a part of the team delivering this new complex, which is designed to support the growing Business and CIS programs with state-of the arts technologies and enhanced spaces for study and collaboration.
