JAMA regularly provides structural support services, but rarely are they for objects that can be dated back to the Jurassic era! The 150 million year old dinosaur fossil, a sauropod nicknamed “Gnatalie,” was recently installed and measures in as the biggest dinosaur at the museum at nearly 80 feet long. JAMA developed above ceiling framing solutions to support the museum’s new resident in coordination with Cinnabar California Inc., and MATT Construction.

An element of the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County Commons project, “Gnatalie” be seen this fall in its new welcome center.
