Partner Barry Schindler applies a remarkable track record as a veteran structural engineer to projects across California and the Western U.S.. A member of JAMA for more than 40 years, his portfolio of work includes thousands of education, healthcare, civic, and commercial structures, designed using off-the-shelf as well as custom structural systems. Barry serves as a trusted advisor to clients and within the firm, applying and identifying innovative and cost-effective strategies for projects, serving as a peer reviewer for University systems, and providing analyses for special-case efforts. He also actively mentors younger staff, teaching skills related to schedule and budget savings for renovations and modernizations. In addition to his professional prowess, Barry showcases his remarkable talents outside of work as an accomplished chef and baker.
