This central plant consists of 3 stories of reinforced masonry and concrete with steel-framed floors and roofs. The facility is approximately 31,800 square feet and will serve as the hub of facility operations for the hospital and hospital support building. The central plant is founded on a 3′ thick reinforced concrete mat with 6′ of interstitial space housing hundreds of under slab utility lines and feeders for the hospital.
