The New Terminal project at Santa Barbara Airport is part of a multi-phased project to update the airports aging facilities and offer more sustainable, secure facilities. The Terminal project included construction of a new 67,000 square foot, 2-story structure that integrated the airport’s original 1942 terminal. By nearly tripling the overall space for passengers, the terminal offers a larger ticketing lobby, enhanced baggage handling operations, additional passenger loading bridges, food and retail amenities, and additional service enhancements.

The original 1942 terminal building was renovated to provide modern passenger service enhancements. The project is LEED Gold certified.
