The Four Seasons Private Residences

The Four Seasons Private Residences Los Angeles is a 12-story mixed use luxury residential and office space development atop three levels of subterranean parking. Located across the street from the Four Seasons Hotel, the stand-alone project offers 59 for sale homes with amenities, services and staff supplied by the Four Seasons hotel, located across the street.  The 378,000 square foot project uses concrete shear walls for the lateral system. Concrete columns with a mild two-way slab are used for elevated decks on level 1 and below, and post tensioned concrete two-way slabs are used for elevated decks 2 and above. Large, cantilevered slabs at the corners serve as balconies and required wide cantilever prestress beams and extensive detailing to accommodate clear floor heights and a sloped slab.
