This project includes a 210,000 square foot renovation and expansion of the Davidson Library, UC Santa Barbara’s main library. Phased retrofits were completed on the original 8-story library tower and an original 70,000 square foot 2-story structure to house the University’s Arts collection. A new 3-story building addition on the north side of the library includes faculty and student collaboration spaces and the Special Research Collections.
