2004 - Caltrans District 7 HQ Completed

The Caltrans District 7 Headquarters was completed with Morphosis Architects. The 700,000 SF structure and 1,142 stall parking garage was revolutionary for its environmental integrations and design, and was the first building commissioned under the Design Excellence Program. The project won numerous awards including the Design-Build Institute of America’s National Award, and was pivotal in earning Thom Mayne his 1995 Pritzker Prize award.
