1956 - Fremont Hotel Completed

The Fremont Hotel and Casino was completed. The project was JAMA’s first significant commission outside of California and held the title of the tallest building in the state of Nevada at the time. The 14-story reinforced concrete, flat slab structure also set the precedent for steel, long span truss, and concrete tower structures as a hallmark of JAMA’s extensive capabilities.
